Abergwynant
Once a superb country estate and farm of 472 acres in what is now the magnificent Snowdonia National Park,
Abergwynant was used to house Land Army girls in the second world war - soldiers from the Army camp at Tonfanau, near Towyn used to come to a dance at Abergwynant every Saturday night!
Nowadays, the estate comprises a little over 70 acres, mainly mixed and old oak woodland, the Victorian kitchen gardens which we are slowly restoring, a boating lake we are working on, and a disused water turbine which used to generate electricity.
