Booking
Conditions
PAYMENT
A non returnable deposit of one quarter of the rental is payable on booking.
The balance of the rental is payable 42 days prior to arrival. For
bookings made less than 7 weeks in advance, the total amount is payable on the
booking. We accept Switch/Visa/Mastercard, (debit card preferred, but no charge
for credit card). VAT is included in the rental
fee @ 17.5%. If VAT rates change, Abergwynant
reserves the right to amend prices accordingly.
PERIOD
OF HIRE
This
contract is for a short term holiday rental. Rentals
commence at
3.00 pm
on the
day of arrival and terminate at
10.00 am
on the
day of departure.
NUMBER
OF GUESTS PER COTTAGE
The
number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number
stipulated in the brochure or website. The proprietors reserve the right to
decline accommodation and to order any unauthorised person off the premises.
No sub-letting or re-letting.
COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be made known to the proprietors immediately. We regret no complaints
will be entertained at the end of the hiring period or after the hirer has
departed.
CARE
OF PROPERTY
The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its
furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them
in the same state of repair and condition and in the same
clean and tidy condition at the end of the hire period as at the beginning.
Additional cleaning costs incurred will be charged back to the client. Any
damage or breakages, which may occur, must be paid for.
ABERGWYNANT DUTY OF CARE
All
properties are maintained to a high standard. In the event of a breakdown a
repair/replacement shall be found/fitted within 24 hours where possible and
within 3 working days at the maximum. Abergwynant cannot be held liable for any
loss arising from loss of use of the service/item within the specified time
limit.
PETS
Pets are accepted by prior arrangement provided that they have their own
sleeping bed/basket and are not left unattended in the property. They must be
house trained, well behaved, kept off the soft furnishings/beds and exercised
away from the cottages. All dogs MUST be kept on a leash when on-site.
PERSONAL
INJURY & LOSS OF CLIENT PROPERTY
The client or members of his/her party cannot hold Abergwynant responsible for
injury sustained or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay at
Abergwynant.
RIGHT
OF ENTRY
Abergwynant
reserve the right to enter any cottage at any reasonable time for purposes of
inspection or to carry out necessary repairs or maintenance.
ABERGWYNANT
RIGHT TO REFUSE
Abergwynant
reserves the right to refuse any booking and in exceptional circumstances, to
cancel, modify or alter arrangements made for client.
CANCELLATION
Any cancellation made by the client for what ever reason shall be in writing. We
advise that you take out a separate holiday cancellation insurance. (Details on request.)

Less
than 21 days: 100% of cost.
